Looking to take a break from the con? Want to make the most of your time in Thailand but don’t want to stray too far from the hotel? Although Nonthaburi is primarily a residential province, there are plenty of tourist attractions around! Here are some suggestions for things to do if you feel like going on a quick Bangkok adventure.
Big C Ratthanathibet 2
Big C is the closest shopping center to the hotel, with a large supermarket that will help you get any supplies you need for day-to-day use. There are some chain restaurants (MK and KFC) in case you feel hungry too. The supermarket is open until 11 PM daily.

Directions
Walk about 400m from the hotel – you’ll have to cross the road via skybridge.

Esplanade Ngamwongwan-Khaerai
Esplanade is one of the closest malls to the hotel. It won’t satisfy your luxury shopping needs, but it does provide easy access to many restaurants and some local stores. It has a movie theater if you feel like watching a movie!

Directions
Esplanade is a 1.4 km walk away from the hotel. It’s also a quick 2-3 minute ride via taxi or motorbike taxi. For short distances, a motorbike taxi is the more affordable option, roughly 20 baht per trip.

Owl Market
Owl Market is a bustling night market with plenty of cheap and delicious food, local crafts, and plenty of the usual market stuff. Over the weekend, there is a second-hand crafts and antiques market too!

Ride the Purple line from [PP10] Bang Krasor to [PP09] Yaek Nonthaburi and walk about 200m to the market.

Central Plaza Westgate
Central Plaza Westgate is your one-stop destination for all your shopping needs. This giant shopping mall boasts the privilege of being the largest mall by area in Thailand. There are so many shops inside, you might even get lost!

Ride the Purple line from [PP10] Bang Krasor to [PP02] Talad Bang Yai and walk about 600m via skybridge to the mall.

Wat Bua Khwan
Wat Bua Khwan is a beautifully decorated temple with intricate designs and filled with Buddhist inspirations. Though it may be inappropriate to dress in a fursuit to a temple, you can still visit one of the most famous temples in Bangkok to take in the culture.

Chatuchak Weekend Market
Chatuchak Weekend Market is a world-famous market that sells all kinds of things, from food to local handicrafts. It’s the largest weekend market in the world, with over 200,000 visitors daily. Make a visit over the weekend, if you have the time!

Directions
Ride the Purple line from [PP10] Bang Krasor to [PP16] Tao Poon. Change to the Blue line and ride two stops to [BL12] Kamphaeng Phet.

Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA)
MOCA is a wide space showcasing modern Thai-influenced art. There is a cafe and plenty of beautiful art installations to view!

Koh Kret is an island in the middle of the Chao Phraya river with beautiful temples based on traditional Mon culture, and plenty of delicious food. Make it a day trip!

Directions
Take a taxi to Pak Kret, and cross the river via ferry daily from 5 am to 9 pm.

FORFUN Bangkok
You know what this store is for. Visiting this fetish heaven is like a rite of pilgrimage for all furries in Bangkok. Stop by to shop for some kink gear, or visit 500 Cafe for a kink-inspired drink. You could even visit the newly-opened RED STUDIO and rent a room!
